This holiday season the Blue Planet Eco-Eyewear has donated over 1,000,000 pairs of corrective glasses to people in need.
It is estimated that 285 million people (19 million being children), are visually impaired worldwide. According to the World Health Organization, approximately 80% of all visual impairment can be prevented or even cured by the use of corrective glasses. The gift of sight can be life changing and make a dramatic difference for communities worldwide.
Our Visualize Change Program started in 2012, for every Blue Planet Eco-Eyewear frame sold provides local and international vision screenings and a corrective pair of glasses to help restore sight to a person in need.
